On a sunny afternoon in May the crowds gathered at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club to watch the 40th Prince of Wales Trophy, named after the now HRH King Charles III, who officially opened the club in 1986.
Bryan Morrison, the club founder, won the trophy in 1991 and his son, the current chairman, Jamie Morrison won in 2003.
After 2 weeks, 13 matches, 12 teams and 1 penalty shoot-out, Aureus Polo & Calatagan LL made their way to the final of the Justerini & Brooks Prince of Wales Trophy 2025. In an action packed and adrenaline fuelled game, Aureus Polo came out victorious 11- 8.
RCPBC are thrilled to have welcomed back Justerini & Brooks back for their 5th consecutive year sponsoring the Prince of Wales Trophy.
Justerini & Brooks was founded in 1749, making them one of Britain’s longest standing fine wine and spirit merchants. They have been granted Royal warrants by every consecutive British monarch since King George III for their world-renowned portfolio and services.
They have been leaders in the industry for over 275 years. Today, their team of experts continue to seek out the best wines and spirits from across the globe and develop the relationships with those suppliers. They are, rightly, proud to represent some of the leading winemakers and Chateaux all around the world.
