Congratulations to Elemental for winning the John Prestwich Challenge Trophy 2025 and to Kazak K for taking home the subsidiary final!

The event also saw our inaugural Charity Dog Show in aid of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, which raised an amazing £600. Categories included Waggiest Tail, ‘Dog the Judge Would Most Like to Take Home’, Best Outfit, and Scruffiest or Fluffiest, as well as a ‘Musical Sit’ competition.

The final score was 3 – 6 to Elemental, whose team founder, Rafi Bruckner, has been playing polo at the Berkshire since he first started around 10 years ago at just seven years old.

Most Valuable Player was awarded to Santi Araya and Best Playing Pony was awarded to Segundo Darritchon’s Mariposa Refinada.

John Prestwich was the longest ever living iron lung patient. He was an avid polo fan and was often found watching polo with his wife, Maggie, at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club. John was an inspiration to our founder, Bryan Morrison, who named this trophy after him.
