Welcome to ‘The Berkshire’
Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club is fondly know as ‘the Berkshire’ to its members and the polo community. The Berkshire is one of the leading Polo Clubs in Europe hosting polo tournaments from 4 Goal to 22 Goal.
Founded in 1985 with the vision of making polo more accessible, the Berkshire prides itself on being an inclusive club for an exclusive sport. While we host world-class players and prestigious tournaments, we remain firmly rooted in our mission to create an environment where everyone feels welcome – whether you’re here to play, learn, or simply enjoy the spectacle!
Set in beautiful Berkshire countryside, our grounds are open to the public throughout the season. Visitors are warmly invited to experience the thrill of live polo from the sidelines, enjoy great food and drink, and soak up the stunning surroundings.
So, whether you're an experienced player, a newcomer to polo, or simply here to enjoy the atmosphere, the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club offers something unique – a place where tradition meets innovation, and everyone is welcome!
Can I come along and watch?
Members of the public are very welcome to come and watch our matches, there are a few days during the summer that require tickets (see our What’s On? page) but the rest of the time you can simply turn up and enjoy the polo!
